Admission: We're obsessed with sport!
As a sports digital agency, we get to work in our two favourite fields: sport and digital.
13 strides originated from an interest in these two areas. Founding directors, Anthony and Kevin were both 400 metre hurdlers - creating the brand 13 strides (the number of strides taken between two hurdles in the event).
Anthony came from an international athletics career in 400 hurdles and represented Great Britain at Olympic, World Championship, European and Commonwealth level, before an abrupt end to his career in the 2003 World Championships in Paris.
Anthony and Kevin then founded the company after both graduating in Multimedia Applications and began creating a company that used sporting experience, contacts, ambition and enthusiasm to create web sites and applications for sporting audiences.
As a bigger, stronger and unified team, 13 strides now have the luxury of designing and developing purely for the sports industry.
The close contact with international sports people is a huge benefit that the company unashamedly use to gain more experience of sports audience interaction and a unique insight into the commercial understandings of sports and media.
